Lincoln Class of 65 Planning Meeting for the 38th Class Reunion Twenty-nine members of Lincoln Class of 65 met at Furr's Cafeteria on August 25, 2002 at 6 pm to discuss a Class Reunion to be held in 2003. The committee voted to have the traditional reunion. Friday, Hospitality Night; Saturday, Banquet Night; Sunday Morning, Worship Service, Sunday afternoon, Picnic. The reunion will be held in Dallas, Texas. The class will be attending the 11 o'clock worship service at North Park Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church on Sunday morning.

The choices in dates are:
July 18-20, 2003 - 1st choice
July 25-27, 2003 - 2nd choice

The Hotel Committee will be looking at the Aldolphus Hotel, Wyndham- Anatole Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hotel and others to find us the best deal to hold the reunion.

The Reunion Committee will be meeting on the 4th Sunday of every month until the reunion.

Souvenir (Memory) Book: Pictures of classmates, (past and present), their families and autobiographies will be collected from the class to make up the souvenir book. Also, pictures of past reunions will be in the book. Those classmates that own businesses will have an opportunity to place an ad in the book at a price. This book will be part of the pack at reunion time along with the Phone Directory.

Another Committee that needs to be formed:

Souvenir Committee: This committee will need to find a few souvenirs, plus the T-Shirts (Joseph Bluitt) to put in the packs.

The entire Reunion Committee will be the Pack Committee: This committee will stuff the packs when everything is collected.
